With Tami and Viola
Episode Notes
Raising strong girls is finally having its moment and the Girl Scouts are front and center in helping to make that happen.
Studies show that the development of attitudes, behaviors, and skills like confidence, conflict resolution, and problem-solving are critical to well-being and rival academic and technical skills in their capacity to predict long-term positive life outcomes. Girl Scouts is the organization best positioned to help girls develop the important leadership skills they need to become successful adults.
Today, I’m talking with Tami Fisher a Girl Scout Volunteer, and Viola Perkins, a high school student and Girl Scout. We’ll discuss their first-hand experiences with the opportunities and life skills Girl Scouts offers to our future women leaders.
